Tariqa Al-Qadiriya Al-Boudchichiya organizes on the 19, 20 and 21st of March the 2nd International Sufi Meeting.
Sufism and the contemporary values are the topics retained for this meeting, which will be organized in Madagh (close to Berkane) by Tariqa Al-Qadiriya Al-Boudchichiya. Organized at the same time as the celebration of the Mawlid (birth of the Prophet(pbuh)), this meeting will be animated by Moroccan researchers and foreign specialists in Islam and other sufi doctrines. It aims at making known the spiritual treasures of the Moroccan Sufism and at revealing a very little known side of Islam, namely the dimension and the excellence of the behavior (Al-Ihsan),
The 2nd edition of the Festival of Fes of the Sufi Culture will take place, in Fes, from the 17th to 24th of April, 2008.
Themes such as "Women and Spirituality", "Sufism and interfaith dialogue", "Sufism and human development" will be discussed during the evenings of Dhikr" (invocations) and "Sama'" (spiritual songs soufis) performed by different sufi orders from various countries and cultures and artistic and musical events.
The "Values and Muslim Spirituality association of France" (VSMF) organized on January 19th, 2008 in Fiap Jean Monnet - Paris a cultural evening under the theme "Sufi Songs Voice of the Hearts" with the participation of groups SAFA and SILSILA -
Moulay Mouad al-Qadiri Boudchich (leader of Tariqa Qadiriya Boutchichiya Sama' and Madih group) said:
"The sama' or spiritual audition is with Dhikr (the invocation) a major pillar in the Sufi education. The content of poems, the rhythm of singing and the whisper of melodies elevate the soul to the subtle presence of the divine Light. This saving Light purifies the soul from its imperfections which progressively transforms the vision we have of the world and the creation.
The practice of the sama' reveals the presence of God in any thing and by the same fact invites the aspirant to the nobleness of the character. It is in this sense that the sama' is considered, in sufism, as a universal message of love and peace for all humanity...."
